About the Role

Take charge of the performance, integrity, and security of our core relational and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade database servers and applications.
• Monitor database performance and implement query tuning.
• Manage database security, permissions, and encryption.
• Design and implement robust backup and restoration procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of DBA experience managing production systems.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Strong shell scripting and automation skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience managing cloud databases (RDS, Aurora).
• Knowledge of database sharding and replication.
