  • Compliance Requirements

If you're working as a staff nurse, you likely meet most of the prerequisites for becoming a travel nurse. The Welcome Staffing team will inform you of any additional criteria and assist in addressing any remaining requirements.

  • RN Degree

    A prerequisite for this role is holding the title of a registered nurse (RN), and the minimum educational requirement is an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree.

  • NCLEX-RN Exam

    Upon completion of a nursing education, successful passage of the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) is required.

  • Work Experience

    A minimum of one year of expertise in your specialized field, preferably gained within a hospital environment, is necessary to embark on a career as a travel nurse. Various hospitals may impose additional criteria, so it's advisable to consult with your recruiter to identify assignments aligning with your specific experience level.
